On Saturday 21st September 2013 we celebrated the launch of the Friends of St. Mary’s Church, Chartham. We created the Friends to support our local church in its maintenance and preservation for all generations to enjoy today and for many years to come. We are a new organisation and our object whilst raising funds, is to make it enjoyable for everyone, and if you are interested in supporting us in this worthwhile cause please come and join us. Please see our Events page for all the information of past events and forthcoming events.
Below you will find photos of the present committee. We are hoping to expand our small group in the coming months, so please do come back and have a look!
We have also provided a copy of our Terms of Reference which we will be working towards in the coming months and years.
This website has been created to give you an insight into St. Mary's Church and as an information portal for our activities, particularly our events, AGM and newsletters. Of course, we would love you to join us in our journey of preserving our beautiful church, so please visit our Join Us page and learn how you can do just that.
We look forward to welcoming you and updating our site for you.
With very best wishes,
The Friends Committee
Treasurer, Website & Newsletter Editor.
